DAFNE was born of the alchemy between planning quality and functionality. Sophisticated and proportioned, the lines of Metalmobil’s small, new armchair are a perfect synthesis of the history and culture of Italian design and flawlessly express a timeless style. The frame of the armchair is the hallmark of the project. Made using a composite technopolymer of different thicknesses, it is perfectly in line with contemporary trends. Its wide openings provide transparency and lightness, endowing the seat with balance as well as a strong, formal spirit. The softness of its lines is juxtaposed against the geometry of its bases, which are always airy and elegant, both in their static – 4-legged, with sled or trellis frames – and dynamic configurations - as swivel chairs with a central base. All of the versions share an, almost immaterial, look. Dafne, the small, contract armchair designed to furnish a wide range of indoor and outdoor settings.
